We celebrated birthdays in November with a camping trip and Chuck E. Cheese! Macey turned 7, Lily is now 5, and Carsen is 2.
I had a great weekend with my two best friends in Dallas!!! Now I'm tackling a pile of laundry while nursing two sick kids and trying to get the house back in order after a couple days away. Isn't reality grand :0)

Macey is wearing a costume that my mom made for me when I was seven! She lined the inside of the hat with newspaper so we were able to find the year she made it -- 1977!!!
Three parties and nine costumes later we've survived Halloween!!! Yes -- Lily is wearing a wig :0)
Now we're on to Birthdays. Lily's was yesterday, Carsen's tomorrow and then on Monday we celebrate with Macey. We're headed camping this weekend and having one big party!!!
Nana Pat & I took Lily and Macey to the Queen's Tea on Friday and Lily LOVED it. There were "princesses" everywhere and she got to get her picture taken with a couple, too. We waited in line for quite a while to get one with THE queen and it was the only picture of the fifty that i took that was fuzzy. The whole family went to the parade the next morning and had a great time. All three girls have mastered the princess wave :0) Macey's favorite part was the horses at the end and daddy loved all the miniature (and loud) motorcycles and cars. We figured out while we were there that Nana Pat has been attending these parades since before I was born! Almost 40 years!!!
We'll i've finally figured this out (kinda) and have it linked to girls web address so i'm going to give it a shot at keeping new pictures and updates going.
Bullard is great and we love the school the girls are going to. Macey is in Kindergarten with a wonderful teacher and full time aid. We could not even ask for a better situation for her. She seems to really be thriving with the one-on-one attention she gets from Ms. Kim. She's got really bad allergies so she's a snorting machine. Sounds like a donkey sometimes he-hawing. We're headed back to the doctor tomorrow to see if we can find something that will help. She's already on two script allergy medicines that are obviously helping because it gets MUCH worse when we forget - but she's still snorting ALL the time. Especially when she's mad :0)
Lily is in a half day pre-k program at the same school and loves it! She also has a great teacher!
Carsen loves all the attention she gets at home while her sisters are in school but she loves it even more when they come home to play with her. Lily is great with her and Macey tolerates her pretty good.
Travis is enjoying teaching at BrookHill but I think it is much more work than he ever thought it would be. He's got 4 different classes to prepare for in Chemistry and Environment Science.
The House? Since school has started any work on it has pretty much stopped so we are still living on cement board floors with no trim in the kitchen and no doors anywhere in the house - except for the bathroom. It'll happen though. It's gotta, right?
OK -- now your updated. I will try to post pics more often from here on out. This is going to be tons easier than what I was doing!!! (or trying to do??)
I've been keeping up a website for the girls since Macey joined the family six years ago but with three babies there just isn't time to keep it updated - so I'm going to give this a try! It shows promise of being easier and I would love to keep friends and family current on everything that is happening in our lives right now. We just purchased a house in Bullard that we are going to remodel and Travis is traveling to East Texas every weekend to get it livable before we get kicked out of seminary housing in June. We're both really excited about the move and being closer to my family - and the house shows LOTS of potential. Unfortunately it also means I'll be a single mom for four days a week. Speaking of being a single mom - i'm one right now and duty calls....
